Google Business Profile setup
New business? Start on Google properly.
We create and verify your Business Profile, pick the right categories and set up reviews from day one, so you're not fixing a half-built listing later.
Who it's for
Get it right the first time.
For new businesses, businesses that have moved or rebranded, and anyone who has never claimed their listing.
A good setup avoids the problems we fix most often later: the wrong primary category, a home address showing publicly, and duplicate listings splitting your reviews in two.
- Just started trading
- Moved premises or changed name
- Listing set up by someone who's since left
- Duplicate or suspended listing
fee. Move onto a monthly plan later if you want to keep climbing.
What we set up
A complete profile, done once and done right.
Create or claim
A new profile, or ownership of an existing one recovered from a former staff member, web designer or old agency.
Verification
Google decides the method, usually a short video, sometimes phone, email or postcard. We prepare everything and walk you through it.
Categories and services
The primary category is the single biggest setting on the profile. We research what your top competitors use before choosing.
Address or service area
Storefront, service-area business, or both. Working from home? We set it up so your address stays private.
Photos and details
Logo, cover photo, hours, attributes, products and a description that reads well to people and to Google.
First reviews
Your review link, a QR code and a simple plan for getting your first ten reviews from real customers.
Questions about setup
Is there a setup fee?
No setup fee, just the monthly flat rate.
I don't have a shopfront. Can I still show on the map?
Yes. Service-area businesses like tradies and mobile services can show on the map with their address hidden. We set the service area to match where you actually work. Look at our Marketing agency for example: no shopfront, ranking in the top 3.
How does verification work?
Google chooses the method, usually a short video of your business, sometimes phone, email or a postcard. It can take a few days to a couple of weeks. We prepare everything and walk you through it.
I have two listings for the same business. Is that a problem?
Yes. Duplicates split your reviews and confuse Google about which one to show. We merge or remove the extra one and keep the listing with the most history.
